Potential Issues: Sign out of your home Microsoft account before you sign in to Office 365
Attention: This guide assumes you have taken the steps mentioned in previous guidance > here.
To open a Lesson or Meeting > Go to the Calendar
Click Join. This option will only be available once the meeting starts e.g. if the meeting is to start at 11:30am, it will display from 11:30am.
Before you can enter your event you will be able to select your audio and visual options. You can toggle the camera and microphones on or off. The image below shows that both are set to off.
You can select which device(s) you want to use with your event > Customised Setup will allow you to change the input/ output sources for Microphones and Speaker. Generally the default will be correct.
You will now be held in the Lobby. The event owner will allow you into the event when they are ready to start broadcasting.
The Teams meeting will have a menu bar across the screen, This can be used to (In icon order);
Event Timer - Video on/off, Audio on/off, Share Files, More Actions, Raise Hand, Text Chat, Show Participants, Leave Event.
To change your environment within the Event > ...(More Actions). You will be able to enter full-screen mode and blur the background of your video. The blur option will focus on you and blur your surroundings.
