If you do not know what your school username, please ask the IT Support Helpdesk

From the Intranet click on Classroom from the right hand menu.

After logging in, you will see a list of all your timetabled classes. > Click on a Class > within that Class click on Classwork on the top navigation bar.
To create a new Topic > Click on the + Create button and select Topic.

Give the Topic a name and click Add. You should now see your new Topic in the list.
To add content to this > click on the + Create button > select Material to add information and copies of lessons.
If you are setting work for the students to complete, you need to create an Assignment. This will then generate a notification for all students to let them know that work has been set.
For an Assignment, please set ‘No date’ to prevent you getting notifications.

Give the Material or Assignment a sensible name (Fig A). > Click Add to assign / upload new documents to the Topic (Fig B). You’ll then have to assign the document(s) to the Topic you’ve just created. > On the right hand side click on the Topic drop down menu > Assign the Material or Assignment to the Topic you have just created.
In this example the Topic is called New Task (Fig C). This is just like adding work to a folder and means it sits in a place where all Material is related.
Example of Material being set – will have Assignment at the top if setting an Assignment.

There are alternative methods for students to submit their work to you.
- Email the document or picture of work to them through Outlook
- Turn it in through Google Classroom
Guidance on how Student's can turn work in can be found HERE.
