Setting up MFA
First, on a PC, Mac or Chromebook, go to: https://sast.org.uk/MFA
Login to Office 365 (If you haven't done already). You'll be presented with a dialog box informing you that More Information is Required
You'll then be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you have done this already, you can move on to the next step.
You'll now be presented with the below screen which will display a QR code. You'll need to leave this window open as we'll come back to this shortly. You will now need to open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.
You can download the app HERE
Setup with Mobile App - Microsoft Authenticator
From either the Apple App Store or Android Play Store, search for and download the Microsoft Authenticator app.
You'll be asked to add an account. Please select Work or school account from the list on screen.
You'll then be asked to scan the QR code that you have up on your computer screen. To do this, just point the camera at your computer screen with your QR code visible on.
You will then see a number appear on your screen, and a test notification to your phone asking you to Accept and input the code, or Deny. Click on Accept, and enter the code you see on screen.
That's it!
You have now setup Multi-Factor authentication. You'll be required to use this at when when trying to access your School account via Office 365
