CCTV Access (VLC Media Player)

Please follow the steps below to access CCTV Cameras using VLC Media Player at Sturminster Newton High School.

1. Open VLC Media Player from the Start Menu

2. Once open, select Media from the top line of tabs and then select Open Network Stream

3. On the window that opens, you will need to enter "rtsp://" followed by the IP Address of the Camera(s), supplied to you by the IT Services Team

4. On the next window that opens, you will need to enter the Username and Password, supplied to you by the IT Services Team

5. This will then open the Network Stream of that Camera. You can resize this window as needed, or open an additional camera by following the same steps.
