Guest Wireless Network FAQ
Following staff feedback, we have relaxed the web filtering on the Guest WiFi network in schools.
These changes provide a browsing experience similar to staff-level filtering, notably allowing access to YouTube and other video hosting platforms. This adjustment addresses previous issues where visitors were unable to display content hosted on these platforms.
To maintain security, the Guest WiFi password will now be rotated regularly. The updated password will be available on our SAST IT Services Portal on SharePoint: SAST - IT Services Portal - Home

How often will the WiFi password be changed?
This is currently set to change every month, but is under review on if this needs to be adjusted.
Is this the same password for all schools?
Yes, all schools have the same network named 'Guest' and have the same set password.
