How to Setup Multi-Factor Authentication with MS Authenticator

You'll be presented with a dialog box informing you that More Information is Required You'll then be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you have done this already, you can move on to the next step. You'll now be presented with the below screen which will display a QR code. You'll need to leave this window open as we'll come back to this shortly. You will now need to open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. You can download the app HERE Setup with Mobile App - Microsoft Authenticator From either the Apple App Store or Android Play Store, search for and download the Microsoft Authenticator app. You'll be asked to add an account. Please select Work or school account from the list on screen. You'll then be asked to scan the QR code that you have up on your computer screen. To do this, just point the camera at your computer screen with your QR code visible on. You will then see a number appear on your screen, and a test notification to your phone asking you to Accept and input the code, or Deny. Click on Accept, and enter the code you see on screen. That's it! You have now setup Multi-Factor authentication. You'll be required to use this at when when trying to access your School account via Office 365

Outlook: Signing into C19 Email Accounts
To be used for Covid-19 related alerts to the head teachers/SLT, accounts have been created for each school in the format: Email Address: C19@schooldomain.co.uk Login details have been sent to each Head Teacher. For support, email: support@sast.org.uk TABLE OF CONTENTS How to Add the Mailbox to Your Outlook iOS or Android Mobile Device Login Through the Web Browser on a Desktop Browser (i.e. Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, etc.) Add the C19 Mailbox as an Additional Mailbox to Your Own Account Any queries How to Add the Mailbox to Your Outlook iOS or Android Mobile Device 1) If you haven't already got this app, download: Outlook for iOS or Outlook for Android If you already have the Outlook App and currently signed into this with another account, i.e. your main school email: 1) Tap your account menu in the top left corner of your Outlook app, select the blue plus sign to add another account. 2) Select 'Add Email Account' 3) In the email address field, type your Covid-19 email address, along the lines of: C19@schooldomain.co.uk. These login details will of been sent to you via email by IT Support. 4) Select 'Add Account' 5) Type in the password for your C19@schooldomain.co.uk account (provided by email by IT Support). 6) This is now added to your device. You will see this as an additional account on the app, and can change between your individual and C19 account by selecting the account menu in the top left corner, and selecting between the accounts. Login Through the Web Browser on a Desktop Browser (i.e. Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, etc.) 1) The same process as you login with your personal account, first go to: https://mail.office365.com 2) Type in your C19 email address (Provided by IT Support via email) 3) Type in the account's password (Provided by IT support via email) 4) You'll then be signed in and will see the mail the same way that you with your individual school Office 365 account. Add the C19 Mailbox as an Additional Mailbox to Your Own Account Note: This this guide is only how to do this through the Outlook Web app, it's not possible through the iOS or Android apps. 1) Contact IT Support at support@sast.org.uk to request your school's C19 account is setup so that your individual Office 365 account has access to read/access your school's C19 mailbox. 2) Read through the following guide: Outlook Web: Adding a Shared Mailbox to your Inbox Any queries If you have any problems or queries, please email: support@sast.org.uk

O365: Password Reset
Guide Created With: Web Browser / Windows 10 / OS X 14+ Guide Created On: 07.07.2021 Version 1.0 Potential Issues: Reason to believe your account password has been compromised Attention: You will not be able to do this if you can't login to email account whatsoever Password Reset Please allow up to 5 minutes for this temporary password to take effect. Please change your password after successfully logging in to your emails by following these instructions below: Click here to login to Emails After logging in to your emails, click on your name at the top right of the window, and press View Account, On the new window that opens, press Change Password, under the Password box Enter your Old Password (The new temporary one we have sent to you in this email), and a New password of your choice. Re-Signing into your Microsoft 365 Account on your Smartphone
This guide will go through how to remove your Microsoft 365 account from your Smartphone, and re-sign in with your account. This process may need to be followed either if you're expericing issues with your Microsoft 365 account on your device, or you're account has been migrated to another Microsoft 365 tenant, i.e. recently joined SAST. iOS Guide Removing your account: 1) Open your Outlook Application on your iPhone 2) Click on your account icon in the top left hand corner of the app 3) Click on the settings cog in the bottom left hand corner. 4) Under Email Accounts select the account you wish to remove. 5) Scroll to the bottom of the settings pane that has appeared, and select Delete Account Adding a new account: 1) Open your Outlook Application on your iPhone 2) If you have no accounts currently on your device, please skip the following steps: a) Click on your account icon in the top left hand corner of the app b) On the left hand pane, it will list the accounts you have signed into the app, highlighted by circle icons if each of your account. c) Under all of your signed in accounts, select the icon showing an image of a letter with a plus sign on it d) Select Add Email Account 3) Enter your Email address 4) This will redirect you to the SAST login portal, prompting you for your password and Multi-Factor Authentication (if your account has this set as required). 5) Your mailbox should now be added to your Outlook mobile application and ready to use. Recall email with Outlook online
Guide Created With: Web Browser Guide Created On: 13.12.2023 Version 1.0 Potential Issues: Email can only be recalled if it has been sent to a mailbox(s) within SAST. Attention: Should you send an email to external sources, Parents' as an example, the email cannot be recalled and must be reported to DPO@sast.org.uk immediately. Technical Specialists: N/A Recalling an email with Outlook online is a straightforward process. Here are the steps you need to follow: 1. Open Outlook online and go to your Sent Items folder. 2. Open the email that you want to recall. 3. Click on the "Actions" dropdown menu in the top right corner of the email. 4. Select "Recall Message" from the dropdown menu. 5. Please click OK to proceed with the message recall 6. You'll shortly receive a Recall Report email from Microsoft to your inbox 7. You can open the email and select View Message Recall Report to see the status of the recall. The recall tends to be complete within 60 seconds, however please allow 3-5 minutes for Microsoft to generate and update the Recall Report. ATTENTION: It is important to remember that Email can only be recalled if it has been sent to a mailbox(s) within SAST. Should you send an email to external sources, Parents' as an example, the email cannot be recalled and must be reported to DPO@sast.org.uk immediately.

How to Email Teachers Of STUDENT in Outlook

If you're following this guide from another site, please use GRY / KAS / SNH instead of SHA where applicable. You will need to manually locate the group when composing your email. Please follow the steps below: Click on the "To" field as shown in the example below. Navigate to the left-side panel and select the "AL-SCH-Groups" tab. (AL-SHA-Groups / AL-GRY-Groups / AL-KAS-Groups / AL-SNH-Groups) In the search bar, enter the following text exactly as formatted: "SCH- Teachers of STUDENT". Then click the plus (+) icon to add the group, then proceed with composing your email.
